最近、JEITAからの通知を装った詐欺メール（英文）が無差別に発信されていることが分かりました。中には、受信者の電子メールアドレスが抽選で懸賞に当たったと詐称し、個人情報の提供や手続費用の支払いを求める悪質なものもあります。JEITAはこれらの通知とは一切関係がなく、当協会から個人情報の提供や金銭の支払いを求めるメールを和文、英文を問わず無差別に発送することはありません。こうした詐欺メールにはくれぐれもご注意ください。 JEITAからの通知を装ったり、当協会の公式ホームページにリンクを貼った不審なメールには、返信しないでください。 Alert for Fraudulent Email purporting to come from JEITAJEITA has recently learned that fraudulent emails purporting to be from JEITA have been sent to numerous email addresses. These fraudulent emails state that your email addresses are selected for a monetary prize and ask you to respond within a certain number of days with your personal information. Please note that JEITA has not sent such unsolicited emails and those emails asking for your personal information or payment to process an award are fraudulent. If you receive such emails that claim to be from JEITA or have a link to JEITA’s official website, please do not respond.
